oval etched cartouche, man with trumpet, "Trumpeter of Sackigen", elaborate relief and polychrome decoration throughout, impressed mark for 1562, 5.65 liters, 21-3/4 in. Star crack on base visible only from outside, repaired rim chip, several tight cracks, approximately 10 in. and 7 in. under glaze, one 8 in. crack. Provenance: Property of a Charleston Lady
