finely carved and painted wood, possibly a Bufflehead, stamped on base "G.P. Trembley" (Alburg Springs, Vermont, born 1918), 6-1/2 x 12 in. Paint probably original, separation at neck, some base wear but little sign of use, very small chip at end of bill and tail.
