cavalry shell jacket, light blue wool with yellow or white trim, 12 buttons with eagle bearing shield with "I" or "1", two buttons at shoulders, black lining, faint fragment of stencil on interior lining, possibly Civil War era, [stains, scattered light pest damage, one repair at bottom corner, one button with corrosion]; dark blue cavalry shell jacket with yellow striping, five buttons down front, three buttons at each cuff, buttons marked "Scovill/Waterbury", [missing one button, scattered pest damage especially to collar area,] with dark blue trousers with orange/yellow striping, "F.J. Kenney" written on waist band, late 19th century, possibly Indian War period, (three pieces). Provenance: Private Collection
