12 lines in pencil, "MATS Enroute Dhahran [Saudi Arabia] to Tripoli, December 31, 1938, Dear Miss Lovett, By the time you receive this note, you will have the small package from Gen. Maxwell…found the Arabian American Oil Co. to be on holiday when I drove over yesterday…(signed) Charles A. Lindbergh", pale blue paper, 8 x 5-1/4 in. Very fine condition, folds not affecting signature. Provenance: Collection of Captain Perry R. Eichor, USAF (Retired). Charles A. Lindbergh (1902-1974) was the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic. The Arabian American Oil Company had struck oil in Saudi Arabia in March of 1938.
