Pair of Framed French Colonial Silk and Chenille Needlework Pictures, early 19th century, each in classical giltwood frame, one depicting a gentleman arriving at a beach of an island colony, retrieving a child, the other depicting the man arriving at a city port, the child running to a woman waiting nearby, with painted faces, sight size 21 x 17 3/4, frame size 27 1/4 x 23 1/2 in.
