This prototype interceptor aircraft ofmixed jet and rocket propulsion developed for the Royal Air Force in the early 191950's and was the equivalent of the U.S. X-2. Although its performance was promising, the need for such an aircraft was soon oboleted by development of surface to air missiles. A must for X-plane collectors. Scale: 1/72
