Aurora 1956 Curtiss Hawk P-6E Plastic Model Kit Manufacturer: Aurora Famous Fighters Name of Model: Curtiss Hawk P-6E Kit #: 116-98 Type of Box: Wrapped Date of Model: 1956 Condition of Box: Mint Condition of Model: Mint Comments: The U.S. Army Hawk served through the 1930's and provided much experience for Army Air Force pilots who would later rise to high rank and direct our Air Force into victory duringWW II and the Cold War. The P-6E was also used widely during the golden age air show in the thirties. This is one of Aurora's earliest aircraft issued with great artwork and the parents seal of approval on the box top. This aircraft is very accurately molded in polished green 1950's style plastic. To prevent loss the very small windscreen has been taped to the bottom of the stand. The original tissue paper that was used to keep the parts from rattling is still inside. Scale: 1/4
