Manuscript Editorial Written for the Philo Literary Iris, 1835, a 4pp inked manuscript with printed letterhead of a literary publication entitled Philo Literary Iris, manuscript list of editors S.D. Irwin, A.L. Snowden & Sam. Watson, dated Friday, Jany. 12, 1835. The manuscript by one of the editors, Sam. Watson, is an interesting editorial extolling the advances of science and commending the nature of man in seeking to understand the universe, but in the end the text is an attempt to justify - and if not prove, then certainly to support - the existence of a god and that it is this god that created the universe.
