Bill Clinton, 42nd President. Typed letter signed as president, one page, 7" x 9", White House letterhead, dated October 15, 1998. Clinton writes to Reverend Stan Easty in North Carolina, one of his closest friends and spiritual advisors, who also adviseed him during the Monica scandal. In full: “Hillary and I want to thank you for the spiritual cards and bookmark, which Ann passed along to us. Thank you for your thoughtfulness—it means a great deal. Your prayers and friendship are deeply appreciated.” Signed, "Bill". In excellent condition.
