In 1898, he published a manifesto "J' accuse!" supporting Alfred Dreyfus, the Jewish officer who was falsely convicted of treason. Handwritten Autograph Letter Signed, dated January 21, 1865, 1 page, in French on "Librarie L'Hachette Blvd. San Germain".
