FINE VINTAGE HOPI PUEBLO INDIAN POTTERY VASE

HOPI POLYCHROME POTTERY VASE. The tall vase with two vertical panels of facing avianform figures with scrolls, frets, and ticked design elements, single solid band on shoulder and around rim. Orangeware with cream, red-brown, and black paints. Illegible ink marks on bottom. Early to midd 20th century. Height 8 3/4 inches; diameter 4 1/2 inches. Provenance: the estate of Irena Narell, Oakland, CA.
