(lot of 4) Japanese menuki (sword fittings) and clasp, 19th century, the first a mixed metal figural menuki of a sage at his desk, the next gilt and shakudo menuki of a lion dancer with a drum, the third a simple silver menuki of a Mandarin duck, the last a purse clasp featuring a Minamoto courtier and the thief, in copper, gilt, silver and shakudo set against an oval backplate.
