Osgood & Co., 1882 with 1881 copyright, "with 192 illustrations", with Franklin Press imprint; in gilt stamped green cloth with crown, scepter & throne on cover, black fleur-de-lis, 402 pp., 7 in. by 8 3/4 in. owner's name in ink on fly leaf, good condition. "Young Folks' Uncle Tom's Cabin", adapted for children by Grace Duffie Boylan, illus. by Ike Morgan, N.Y.: Hurst & Co.1901, color paste on grey cloth cover. And "The Birds' Christmas Carol", by Kate Douglas Wiggin, Houghton Mifflin Co., N.Y. published 1912, decorated green cloth cover.

298: Twain: worn edges; inscription on fly leaf; normal wear- good condition. Uncle Tom: soiling on pictorial cover; no inscription- better than average condition. XMas Carol: pasted on book plate removed- good condition.
