Condition/Details: Bound in red cloth boards with gilt embossing and edge gilt, this antique volume is a rare treatise on the card game of Whist, including laws and rules and a discussion of the historical origin of playing cards. The volume shows light external wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages with mild age toning and pencil markings. The book measures approximately 3.25" x 4.5" and contains 63 pages.
