Weller Louwelsa Native American Indian portrait pitcher by Levi J. Burgess (Signed L.J. Burgess). Excellent portrait of Indian with feather in hair, earrings and a blue scarf, an uncommon color on standard glaze pieces. Marked 580 in large, impressed numerals. There is a crude repair to the mouth of the pitcher as well as a chip and hairline at the base. Overall crazing is broad and a bit scaled, but the integrity of the artwork and piece are solid. 12 1/2" tall.
