Eljer Industries, Inc. (Dallas, Texas) art pottery vase with crystalline high glaze on an Arts & Crafts form. Marked Eljer in an oval. Mint. 8 7/8" tall by 4 1/8" wide. Eljer Industries opened in 1904 and produced kitchen and bathroom items (porcelain and ceramic) into the 1990s. This vase, reportedly to be 1 of only 50-100, was a test for entry into the ceramic decorative arts market. Ulitmately, Eljer never transitioned beyond kitchen and bath ceramics.
