Early 20th century, the base impressed ''Handel'', with company label to underside, the shade fitter marked ''Handel Lamps / Pat'd 979664'', the domed hexagonal ribbed shade, with chipped sand finished surface decorated with clusters of palms against a sunset, over a ribbed spreading base, electrified, 21.5'' H x 15.5'' Dia., est:$3000/5000. Condition report

Shade in overall very good condition. With only light marks and scratches to surface. Bottom half of base with patinated surface entirely removed. With some polish residue in crevices. Would benefit from being re-patinated. Wiring should be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.
