665. Vera West costume design sketch of Susanna Foster in Bowery to Broadway. (Universal 1944). Original costume design sketch of Susanna Foster in her role as "Peggy Fleming" showing a floor length blue sleeveless gown with shawl design and mink stole on a 12 in. x 19 in. leaf of artist's illustration paper and matted to a size of 13in. x 20in. The matte features handwritten notations and indication that the gown was change #4 in the film and worn in a backstage dressing room scene. This very 1940s design features added glitter to represent Foster's earrings and hair design. A beautiful and elegant costume design in excellent condition. $300 - $500
