672. Cecil Beaton costume hat design sketch for Vivien Leigh in Anna Karenina. (London Film Productions, 1948) Original costume design sketch by Cecil Beaton accomplished in ink on a 7 ½ in. x 9 ½ in. leaf of folded British Embassy, Paris stationery, featuring Vivien Leigh as "Anna Karenina" in a hat visible prominently throughout the film, most notably in the horse auction scene. Signed Beaton at the lower right with his notations in French for color and fabric. $600 - $800
