(MGM, 1962) Three original Walter Plunkett costume design sketches accomplished in pencil and gouache on 9 1/2 in. x 11 1/2 in. leaves of artist illustration paper and mounted to larger boards. Featuring three sketches: two for George Peppard as "Zeb Rawlings" (one as private, one as lieutenant) and one of Spencer Tracy as "General Grant." Production notations in the margins: "red bandana around head wound", "2" inf. blue stripe", and with fabric swatch attached at the upper left corner of one Peppard. Each is signed Plunkett at the lower right. $200 - $300
