771. T-1 Battle Drone maquette from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. (Warner Bros., 2003) This beautifully detailed 1/4 scale approval miniature was created to both establish the look of the T-1 figures and coordinate the construction of the real full sized T-1 robots along with the computer generated ones. Constructed of styrene, brass, aluminum, stainless steel and other plastics, this figure is hand painted with the same paints and detailed by the same artists that built the ones for the movie. Measures 15 in. tall x 23 in. long.

Profiles in History is pleased to present its third and final offering of 35 original screen-used visual effects creatures and puppets of some of the most iconic characters ever created for film. These impressive pieces were assembled over many years by a single private collector who has now decided to pass these treasures on to new caretakers.

Many of you will recognize these characters as original creations of the artists at the Academy Award-winning effects house Stan Winston Studio, and each piece is accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity from the Stan Winston Studio. Bidders please note: the consignor will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each piece to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
