
776. Screen-used animatronic "Archer" puppet from Small Soldiers. (Universal, 1998) This is the hero screen used puppet from the movie Small Soldiers. He is built of resin, silicone, and foam latex over a steel and aluminum mechanical structure. He is still attached to the bundle of servo motors that were used to give him his motion. Stands 15 in. tall.
Profiles in History is pleased to present its third and final offering of 35 original screen-used visual effects creatures and puppets of some of the most iconic characters ever created for film. These impressive pieces were assembled over many years by a single private collector who has now decided to pass these treasures on to new caretakers.
Many of you will recognize these characters as original creations of the artists at the Academy Award-winning effects house Stan Winston Studio, and each piece is accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity from the Stan Winston Studio. Bidders please note: the consignor will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each piece to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
