778. Small Soldiers — Stan Winston signed and numbered limited edition "Chip Hazard" commando elite platoon leader and "Archer" Gorgonite leader figures. (Universal, 1998) Each is numbered 19 of only 25; these figures were built as a continuation from the actual motion picture production line, fabricated from the original molds; assembled and hand-painted by the same designers, technicians and artists of Stan Winston Studio. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Stan Winston as well as the original box which replicates the toy boxes from the film (never opened). Each also comes with blue satin-lined display box. Each stands fully 12 in. tall.

Profiles in History is pleased to present its third and final offering of 35 original screen-used visual effects creatures and puppets of some of the most iconic characters ever created for film. These impressive pieces were assembled over many years by a single private collector who has now decided to pass these treasures on to new caretakers.

Many of you will recognize these characters as original creations of the artists at the Academy Award-winning effects house Stan Winston Studio, and each piece is accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity from the Stan Winston Studio. Bidders please note: the consignor will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each piece to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
