783. Morlock study maquettes from The Time Machine. (Warner Bros., 2002) These three 1/4 scale approval miniatures figure were used to establish the look of the Hunter, Spy, and Worker classes of Morlock creatures for film The Time Machine. Built of resin and hand painted by the same artists that created the full sized figures for the movie. Measurements range from largest: 13 in. tall (on base) x 16 in. wide to smallest: 6 in. tall (on base) x 11 ½ in. wide.

Profiles in History is pleased to present its third and final offering of 35 original screen-used visual effects creatures and puppets of some of the most iconic characters ever created for film. These impressive pieces were assembled over many years by a single private collector who has now decided to pass these treasures on to new caretakers.

Many of you will recognize these characters as original creations of the artists at the Academy Award-winning effects house Stan Winston Studio, and each piece is accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity from the Stan Winston Studio. Bidders please note: the consignor will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each piece to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
