Gelatin silver matte vintage 3 ½ in. x 5 ½ in. postcard inscribed and signed on the recto, featuring Josephine Baker in a fine head-and-shoulders portrait wearing a jeweled headdress and large earrings. Inscribed in black ink on the image, "a Pierre Orlanda, en Souvenir de Josephine Baker, Paris, 1930." It is tipped to a larger board together with 16 photograph cigarette cards featuring the flamboyant entertainer in a variety of costumes she made famous at the Casino de Paris with casino text on versos.
