826. Grace Kelly skirt worn in Mogambo. (MGM 1953). Grace Kelly costume featuring a cream safari knee length skirt designed by Helen Rose. Grace starred opposite Clark Gable and Ava Garder in her portrayal of Linda Nordley. Mogambo is a much loved film classic and was shot on location in Africa. A bias label sewn into the skirt with typed details reads "Grace Kelly 1616- 2651." The skirt is very full in design and has a built in slip. The skirt fastens in the rear with a zipper and hook eye closure. Minor moth hole damage to the rear. Items of Grace Kelly from her film career rarely come to market and are highly sought after. $3000 - $5000
