852. Susan Kohner period costume from The Big Fisherman. (Buena Vista, 1959). A long sleeve period gown designed by Renie and worn by Susan Kohner in her role as "Fara". The cream colored gown features red madras stripes along the skirt and is decorated with fuschia and gold ribbon and green yarn at the neck and cuffs. The collar also features nine delicate gold buttons (one detached) which fasten at the neck. The rear fastens with both hook eye and snap closures. Western Costume sewn in handwritten "Susan Kohner" and production details "1201- 1". The gown is in excellent condition with some minor fraying to the left shoulder and a minor stain to the front. It is accompanied by two 8 x 10 stills of Kohner wearing the costume. $400 - $600
