(MGM, 1956) An interesting set of three oversized black & white photographic studies of the D-57 spacecraft and crew members, as they were filmed within an MGM sound stage during production. The top of a massive painting of space is visible in the background, rigged to the sound stage's upper catwalks in one image. Although it is not known why these shots were originally created, they may have been produced for special effects perspective studies. An excellent set of production photographs from this classic sci-fi film. Each measure 8 in. x 19 ½ in. Some wear from use and age; overall, each in good condition and perfect for framing and display. $2500 - $3000
