999. Alien Carbonizer pistol from Men In Black. (Columbia, 1998) Intricate Carbonizer pistol constructed of machined aluminum with aluminum handgrip, a number of small red and green lights, and a translucent glass ball filled with viscous liquid (corn syrup) and stringy latex tentacle-like sinews made to simulate an alien brain. Each machined piece of the prop weapon is handmade and polished. Two Carbonizer pistols were made for the production: one was destroyed in the opening scenes of the film, making this the only surviving Carbonizer pistol from the film. It comes with a letter of authenticity from Ricardo Angel Gamez, the film's weapons prop maker, detailing the provenance of the piece. $5000 - $7000
