1018. Connie Nielsen "Lucilla" tiara from Gladiator. (Universal, 2000) This beaded metal tiara was made for use by Connie Nielsen as "Lucilla" in the Roman epic Gladiator. It is constructed of a metal frame with plastic sections and beading, it has been padded with cloth where it rests on the actress' head. This tiara is visible in the scene where "Lucilla" is watching "Maximus" fight in the gladiatorial arena. The tiara was purchased directly from the costume company who worked on the film, although it has been changed slightly in color after use in a subsequent production. $2000 - $3000
