Aharon Giladi (Golodetz) was born in 1907 in Russia. He immigrated to Israel in 1929. During the years 1923-26 he studied at the Art Academy of Leningrad. Prizes: in 1948 and in 1954 he won the Dizengoff Prize; in 1960 the Histadrut Prize. Until 1948 he was a member of Kibbutz Afikim. In 1969 he settled in Safed. Giladi died in 1993.
