Tuvia Beeri was born in 1929 in Topolcany, Czechoslovakia.
In 1948 he immigrated to Israel. During the years 1961-63 he stayed in Paris and studied lithography at the ecole des beaux-arts. He is considered one of the leading printmakers in Israel. His favorite printing technique is aquatint. Beeri has a meticulous care for detail while creating and destructing, exploding and merging luminous compositions of geometrical shapes in a personal language of form and color. Beeri had exhibitions in the US, Canada, South America, Australia, Germany, France and Israel.
The beautiful portfolio Forgotten Landscapes by Beeri includes seven original etchings-aquatints, pencil signed and numbered by artist himself. They were hand printed in 125 copies on Arches paper at Atelier Georges Leblanc in Paris. Beeri presents futuristic and fantastic environments suggesting dynamic and eventful occurrences. His great experience in this medium has led him to beautifully master the etching technique. Beeri currently has a one man show at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
