Bernard Schultze was born in 1915 in Schneidemühl that is Poland today. In the years 1934–39 he studied in Berlin and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf. In 1972 he became a member of the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin.
This silkscreen is part of an extensive portfolio of 19 works by varions international artists. The portoflio was made for an art fair that took place in 1967 in Koln, Germany titled Kunst Markt.
