Fine Sheffield-Plate Quatrepodal Covered Tureen, second quarter 19th century, in the neoclassical taste, the feet modeled as boldly haunched paws, the finial modeled as two stylized foliate scrolls en face, of good weight, h. 11", dia. 12".
Condition report
In excellent condition. The edge of the lid has very minor imperfections from use. The silvering is not worn.
