Six-Piece Collection of Hand-Painted American Belleek Porcelain, comprised of a good Lenox mirror-black cylindrical vase with a polychromed frieze of butterflies, 1906-1924; an attractive pair of Lenox gold and matte black tankards in "Vintage" decor, also 1906-1925; a Lenox dragon-handled mirror-black tankard with a frieze of stylized Pompeian red flowers and charcoal gray leaves in the Arts and Crafts taste, 1906-1924; a Ceramic Art Company mirror-black barrel-form tankard with a polychromed and parcel-gilt frieze of a lakeside village in the Arts and Crafts taste, 1889-1906; and a Willets satin-black cylindrical tankard with a narrow band of roses at the lip in the Arts and Crafts style, ca. 1900-1904, all of the pieces but one of the Lenox black and gold tankards fully marked, h. 4-7/8" to 11-1/4".
Condition report
One of the mugs with gilded grapes has a 2" hairline on the inside near the upperhandle. The rest are fine. One mug is signed "M.S. Rounds".
