CLAUDIA "LADY BIRD" JOHNSON (1912-2007) First Lady of the United States. Typed Letter Signed, "Lady Bird," on Mrs. Lyndon Baines Johnson letterhead. One page, 7 1/8" x 10 3/8". No place. December 23, 1962. Johnson writes, in part: " … Bill's book of poems is provocative and enormously varied. I like particularly "At Athens" and "Lesson". I am proud, too, of the way the University of Texas printed the book.
