JOSEPH PIERRE BIRREN (AMERICAN, 1864-1933), OIL ON BOARD, 20" X 24", "LITTLE GREY HOUSE":Image depicts a cozy complex of buildings with a grey house protruding in the mid ground. The image is signed "Joseph Birren" at the lower left and is within a gilt wood frame which has a plaque adhered to the lower portion displaying the artist's name.

Very much in need of a cleaning, there is some evidence of stains; the upper right portion shows some lacerations with a small loss evident; the frame has many nicks and scratches. RG
