CELESTIN ANATOLE CALMELS (FRENCH, 1822-1906), BRONZE SCULPTURE, H 20", DIA 6" (BASE), BAGPIPER:Signed "A. Calmels" at the base along with "EL BC (superscript) Pradier". Stamped with a foundry mark (see photo) also "B2329". Calmels studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts under Pradier.
