SPANISH TRADE NATIVE AMERICAN KNIFE

7.5 inch curved blade with Moorish design work. This knife may have originated in Spain and if so will have been traded with the native American Indians Circa 17th Century. The grip is of bone and the leather scabbard is bead bound. The blade is rusted and the bead binding is lose. The consignor states that this item was found by her Grandfather in the river near Hartford, Connecticut in or around 1910.
