"Epic, 1988 Platinum sales award, c.1988, nicely mounted and framed to approximately 17 by 21 inches, light scratching to frame, overall very good condition. This award was presented to Epic Records to commemorate the sale of more than 1,000,000 copies of the album Lap of Luxury. After an extended departure from the group, Cheap Trick co- founder and bassist Tom Petersson rejoined the band in 1988 to work on Lap of Luxury, which resulted in a platinum Top 20 hit. It features the ballad ""The Flame"" as well as a top-ten version of Elvis Presley's ""Don't Be Cruel."""
