After an extended departure from the group, Cheap Trick co- founder and bassist Tom Petersson rejoined the band in 1988 to work on Lap of Luxury, which resulted in a platinum Top 20 hit. It features the ballad ""The Flame"" as well as a top-ten version of Elvis Presley's ""Don't Be Cruel."""
