Varied lot of larger bound antique books which include My Bondage and My Freedom by Frederick Douglass (1855), Headley's Life of Washington, (1865), History of Napoleon by L'Ardeche (1864, part of the binding is missing), North America by Trollope (1862), The Rocky Mountain Saints History of the Mormons by Stenhouse circa 1873 (back cover not attached), 3 volumes of St Nicholas, Scribner's Illustrated Magazine for Girls and Boys from 1873-74, 1874-75, and 1878-79, Prairie and Mountain Adventures on Life in the West by Van Tramp ca. 1869. Civil War specific books include The Secret Service; The Field, the Dungeon, and the Escape by Richardson (1865), The Adjutant General's Report. Michigan 1864 (back cover loose but otherwise fair condition), and Parson Brownlow's Sketches of the Rise, Progress and Decline of Secession by Brownlow ca. 1862. A very interesting lot in reasonably good condition age considered for the Civil War era enthusiast. Lot weighs 32 lbs.
