Lot of antique books includes The Surprising Adventures of the Magical Monarch of Mo And His People by L. Frank Baum. This copy is in good condition and appears to be a first edition with some fade/wear on binding and at corners, minor small stains on cover, some separation of binding from book when opened, 239 pages approximately (last page not numbered) appear to all be intact & in very good condition. Pictures by Frank Verbeck. Several pages into the book has "Copyright 1900 by Robert Howard Russell Copyright 1903 by L. Frank Baum July (All rights reserved) Printed and bound by M.A. Donohue & Company Chicago" printed. Also in this lot is a copy of The Magical House of Zur by Mary Dickerson Donahey c. 1914, sadly pages 45 to 50 are missing, otherwise in good condition. 9 books in the Little Colonel series and 2 Mary Ware books all authored by Mary Fellows Johnston included; these were originally done 1900 to 1912, these are "impressions" printed between 1920 and 1923, all intact and in very good condition inside and out with the exception of one small hole in binding of one. 11 Billy Whiskers books, 6 in very good condition and 5 in fair condition, printed between 1904 and 1913, describes adventures of a goat.
