This lot of antique books ranges 1825 to 1902, plus a set of 19 books dates of which cannot be determined. "Sporting Anecdotes" by Pierce Egan, published London for Sherwood, Jones, and Co. Paternoster-Row 1825, cover has fading, wear at the edges, however all pages appear to be intact. 1884 printing of "Complete Trotting and Pacing Record" by Chester, spine is 6 compartments with gilt, top section of spine needs to be re-attached as well as back cover but all pages appear in good condition and intact. 1897 The Queen's Hounds in good condition with exception of water stain to top quarter of pages. Primers in very good condition; "Midiaeval Civilization" c. 1883, "History of Greece" c. 1890, First Steps in German Idioms" c. 1902, other small book publications 5 in all with two in French (good condition). The last 19 books in this lot are a set, printing limited to one thousand, publishing date undeterminable, Balzac's Works with introduction by George Saintsbury, while the spines are not in good condition all pages of these volumes appear to be complete.
