Secretary with oval carved pattern on front. The interior features 4 vertical compartments, 2 horizontal compartments and 2 small drawers. This section can move from one side to the other for flexibility in use. Hinged arms to open/close were replaced at some time with chains. There is a dark stain on the desktop interior, but does not detract from usefulness and not seen when front is closed. Below the desk compartment is a single drawer of same width as the piece, a small metal rod with rings, and two shelves.
