Ormolu gilded frame with ceramic oval shaped bowl in the French Rococo style, reputedly from the lobby of the Touraine Hotel, Boston. Metal frame of filigree floral design and heavy four footed base. Bowl with 16th century scene transfer print, the remainder being hand painted. Size 17 x 12 x 9.5 inches. Some wear to the gilding but overall a fine example in very good condition.
