The trunk is in very good condition. The very old (no dates observed) newspaper lining portions of the interior is indicative of its origin to New England. The hinges to the rear of the lid have been replaced but the hardware on the front appears original. Measures 16.5 inches high, 37 inches wide, and 16 inches deep.
