Description: [4], 105 pp. With 50 numbered lithographed plates showing farms, buildings, ranches, towns, etc., some double-page; 9 unnumbered lithographed plates with multiple portraits of citizenry; 6 hand-colored lithographed maps, 5 of them double-page. 18½x14¾, rebound in half morocco & cloth with much of original gilt-lettered cover cloth laid on.Scarce and sought-after atlas and view book of Yolo County with significant historical and descriptive text. The striking views show the various farms, ranches, towns, etc., with much livestock, fine horses, and more. The scenic plates are numbered 1 to 49, with a duplicate of plate 19 to reach the complement of 50. The rebinding, preserving much of the original cover cloth, was done by Sandra Good.

Title-page creased with repaired tear, creasing to early and latter pages; a small number of maps and plates with crease tears, some other with short tears into image but no significant loss, Plates 5, 6, 20 and 41 with significant tears, some repairs, but no substantial loss to images, occasional marginal chips, in very good condition.
