Admiral of the Blue, and Commander in Chief of His Majesty's Ships and Vessels employed and to be employed on the American and West Indian Station, &c. &c. &c. Among the most notable accomplishments of Warren's long naval career was the key role of the squadron he commanded in thwarting the planned French invasion of Ireland in 1798.
