Bowen, Philada."Brightly colored plates from the octavo edition of Audubon's master work, first published in 1840-44, numbering seven volumes with 500 plates. The plates feature two birds, male and female, or winter and summer plumage. Plates include Wilson's Snipe/Common Snipe, Cooper's Hawk, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Sharp Shinned Hawk, Caracara Eagle, Gos Hawk, Bartramanian Sandpiper
