ORNATELY CARVED ROCOCO-STYLE DESK.
Late 19th Century. Probably Italian. Walnut. Heavily carved pedestal desk with three drawers and two cabinets. The high relief carving includes female figures, draped and undraped, grinning gargoyles as well as foliate designs. The sides and back are also carved in the same manner. Minor loss. 63 1/2"w. 34 1/2"d. 32"d.
